So I slacked last week. I need to get a steady thing going. I will do watp again today because it is pouring rain. I bet there are runners out there in this crap. Like the guy on Laurel every morning. Slow and steady wins the race.

Back again. I went to the store and remembered where I saw the broken piece of bamboo. (I love bamboo...) It was on the way to the high school. I drove by the bamboo and kept driving. To the high school. I wasn't gonna walk two days in a row. I'm not sure if that's good or not? Anyway, I parked the car. The security guard scared me. (He thought I was a student.) I got out of the car and went to the track. I walked. There was such a cool wind. I wasn't dressed for it. But I did it. I did 4 laps around the high school track in 20 minutes (give or take a few seconds). The high school track is definitely longer than the laurel track. I don't know how I'm gonna find out the difference. But I want to know. (That's the OCD in me.) Have to go and get a grip on paper. I'm glad I went today even if I do hurt a bit from the health issues.

I feel good. I just went on my first outing. It almost didn't happen. But something prodded me out the door. There was no place to park at the high school. So I came home. Ate breakfast. Surfed a little. Looked at the vcr connection because I figured I would do walk away the pounds. Gave up after about 12 seconds of looking at the wires. That little voice kept saying "go out". So I got back in the car and went to the other school. I'm not sure if the track is exactly a 1/4 mile track or not. But for now, that doesn't matter. I did 4 laps in 17 minutes. My first stats... And my first public post in my journal.
